Hellooo, niiice to meet yooou!

Hi, my name is mélanie duault—a French-born food and drink photographer based in Berlin, with a strong focus on stop-motion. I am often found in New York or Paris as well.

Born in Paris, I have lived in London, Oaxaca (Mexico), Portland (Oregon), and Austin (Texas), before spending several years in New York, where I fully immersed myself in photography and studied at the International Center of Photography (ICP).

Since 2015, I have been working as a freelance creative, specializing in stop-motion video and food photography. I enjoy bringing bold colors, playful energy, and a vibrant sense of storytelling to everything I create—whether it is for emerging startups or established brands.

Along the way, I have picked up several languages—I speak fluently English, German, Spanish, and … French. This has helped me connect with clients and collaborators across different cultures and countries.

I am always excited to hear about new ideas and explore what we can create together. Feel free to reach out—let us make something great.

Still-Life Photography

The vegan restaurant is reopening its doors in New York. For the occasion, I took pictures of their new deliciousness on the menu.

Stop-Motion Video

I created short videos for the vegan chocolate bites called NOONS. The stop-motion videos play with their flavors such as banana or coffee!

Still-Life Photography

I took photos of the menu for the new vegan restaurant. I cannot get enough of their burgers and their milkshakes!

Stop-Motion Video

I created and produced videos for the protein cakes brand to show how easy it is to make and share some easy recipes.

Still-Life Photography

For this editorial shoot, I tooks pictures of vegan food scenes featuring models eating, grabbing food, having fun!

Stop-Motion Video

I was beyond excited producing a video for a skincare brand to celebrate the environmental aspect of the product with its recycled plastic.
